Skin lesions are common. They include moles (naevi), cysts and other benign lesions. They may occur on any part of the body but can be particularly unsightly or irritating on the face. They may have features suspicious for malignancy.
Skin lesions can usually be removed under local anaesthetic by Dr Tolerton in the onsite facilities at Randwick Plastic Surgery. Some lesions, depending on the site and size may be more appropriately removed in the hospital setting as a day procedure. This is usually always the case for lesions in children.
Excision of the lesion(s) will result in a scar that will be optimised by Dr Tolerton and her team at Randwick Plastic Surgery.
